Mark

As we start a new season together, we start a new study together: the Gospel of Mark. Mark, who was Peter’s traveling companion, gives us a unique perspective on the life and ministry of Jesus by arranging short scenes and stories into one cohesive narrative that presents a majestic mosaic of the Messiah. In the opening chapter, John the Baptist prepares the world for Jesus’s arrival by proclaiming a message of repentance and forgiveness. Join us as we look to Jesus and discover what John the Baptist means when he says, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.”
