Rejoice

Christmas time is full of tastes and treats and sounds and smells. I love the colorful lights, scent of pine, and practice of giving gifts. Of all the traditions, I think I love the songs the most. Christmas carols combine rich theology with musical talent to create some of the most powerful portrayals of the Christmas story. One familiar lyric, “the weary world rejoices,” captures the magnitude of the birth of Christ. No matter what circumstances we face, the entire world rejoices because the King has come! And, this side of the Christmas story, we rejoice that the King is coming again! Join us as we look at Christ’s birth from Luke’s perspective and rejoice together this Christmas!
